Can you add support for Tidal, Deezer, SoundCloud or YouTube Music? We'd love to add support for more services, but unfortunately none of those mentioned above ship apps that support AppleScript, so Sleeve doesn't have a way to fetch metadata or control playback.
We're hoping to be able to add support in the future. Why does the 'Like' control not appear for Spotify? Sadly Spotify's AppleScript support is limited and we don't currently have a way for Sleeve to add tracks to the 'Liked' playlist in Spotify. All we fetch is the current track info and whether or not the apps are open and playing. Why does Sleeve ask to control Apple Music/Spotify/Doppler when it first launches? Sleeve needs this system permission in order to fetch information from those apps.

There’s no authentication required - Sleeve interacts directly with the Apple Music and Spotify apps as long as they're open on your Mac. Tracks aren't downloaded to local PC in a playable format, but instead, the player streams the tracks from Spotify's service (again, with premium, it is possible to use Spotify in offline mode as well). Service is provided for free, but compensated by advertisements played every now and then between the played tracks (however, with the paid, premium version of Spotify, you can remove the ads completely). The audio quality is very good and software itself is quite light-weight and extremely intuitive to use. With Spotify's client you can create and share playlists of the tracks found the service, find new artists via recommendations and more. Spotify has licensed virtually all major record labels' music to be used with its service and all that for free. Spotify lets you listen millions of high quality music tracks online, legally.
