

Use the Capture Tool to capture web pages Add to relevant group or create a new group from the drop down menu.Select all or individual records by ticking relevant boxes.Click on “Retrieve” and choose a range of records (say 1 through to 10).Select British Library BG from the drop down list.


Search the British Library Catalogue within Endnote Web

Choose “unfiled” group, then select the references you want to move.See "Sync your library and create a backup" This means that whatever you do to one will be synchronised with the other. If you have an Endnote Desktop library, you can "sync" this with your Endnote Web account.The group will be ticked in the “Manage my Groups” screen if it has been shared Choose a group to share, then click on “manage sharing” and add e-mail addresses of any colleagues you want to share the group with. You can also share groups from the “Manage my Groups” screen.In the dialogue box which appears at the top of the screen, give the folder a name and click on OK.(NB Note scripted windows message on information bar and temporarily allow scripted windows, if necessary) Click on “Manage my Groups” (this is the default, so you may be already there).The paperclip turns from grey to blue to indicate an attached PDF To attach a PDF of an article stored on your computer, click on the paperclip next to the item in Endnote Web, navigate to the PDF and upload.You may need to sort by “added to library” if there are already references in the unfiled group, so that your new references are at the top of the list Select the “unfiled” group to see your newly imported references.Follow the instructions as for Endnote desktop, making sure you select the “Export to Endnote Web” option.Click on “Hide Getting Started Guide” at the top right of the screen to view your library.Once you have created your account, you can go direct to Endnote Web via Google and enter the account details in the login box.Enter your preferred e-mail address and then follow the onscreen instructions to enter your details.At the top right of the screen, choose Register from the drop down menu.Scroll down to Web of Science and click on the link.Go to the Library Services Moodle, then eResources.If the referencing style you need is not listed, please contact the Library at Create an account via Web of Science on campus You need to login at least once a year on campus to maintain access to this account. (This also serves as an account in Web of Science for saving searches and setting up alerts). However, if you wish to have access to the enhanced version of Endnote Web, including additional referencing styles used at the University of Chichester, it is advisable to create an account via Web of Science.
